I’m Guillermina Gassó

I’m an interior designer with a passion for creating spaces that inspire, connect, and elevate daily life. I believe in the power of design to transform environments and influence how people feel and interact.

Originally from Barcelona, I draw inspiration from the Mediterranean’s natural beauty, warm textures, and timeless aesthetics. My design philosophy combines functionality and storytelling, ensuring each project reflects the unique identity of its space and the people who inhabit it.


My Journey

Over the past few years, I’ve gained experience working on a variety of projects—from designing homes and workspaces to hotels and retail environments. I started my career at A&P Interiorisme, a local studio where I gained invaluable hands-on experience in all aspects of project execution. Later, at Isabel López Vilalta Studio (AD100), I sharpened my skills in crafting high-end, large-scale environments.

After graduating, I began an international journey that’s taken me to Ireland, Australia, and Denmark — each place adding something unique to my design perspective and mediterranean roots.

In Sydney, I worked with West Elm, where I deepened my understanding of furniture design, styling, and the connection between interiors and daily life. Later, I spent time living in Copenhagen, where I embraced the Nordic principles of simplicity, functionality, and quiet beauty.

Now based in Sydney, I’m continuing to grow GGB Studio — working independently on interior design projects across Spain, Denmark, Australia and Dubai. To keep evolving as a designer, I’ve also begun a master’s in Interior Decoration at Sydney Design School — expanding my skills with fresh insight and intention.

What Drives Me

Whether collaborating with clients or exploring new concepts, I bring a thoughtful, detail-oriented approach to every project. My expertise lies in creating layouts, crafting mood-driven atmospheres, and blending modern elements with timeless design.
